Before Fame
Prior to his professional acting career, he attended Argentina's National School of Drama. He eventually began his professional acting career in 1959.

Due to his highly-acclaimed performance in drama series Montecristo, he was named 'Best Actor' during the 2006 Clarín Entertainment Awards ceremony. He was also named 'Best Supporting Actor' during the 2006 Premios Martín Fierro Awards.
Family Life
He and his wife, Julia, got married in 1965. Together, they have three children.
