Most well known for voicing the character Link in several The Legend of Zelda video games, she is also known for her work on the Super Smash Bros. Brawl game, as well as for her contributions to anime series such as Doraemon, Taro the Space Alien, and Penguin no Mondai.
She began her voice acting career in the late 1990s, contributing to the anime productions Those Who Hunt Elves (1996) and Cutie Honey (1997).
At the start of her career, she worked with the Kenyu Office voice acting agency; later, she found representation with Arts Vision.
She was born and raised in Japan's Kyoto Prefecture.
She is a contemporary of fellow Japanese voice actor Hikaru Midorikawa.
