Afropop and R&B singer who originally rose to fame as a member of the girl group Above and has since gone on to release acclaimed singles like "Loving Your Way" and "Irawo." She was nominated for five World Music Awards in 2014, including Best Song, Best Live Act and Best Entertainer of the Year.
She attended high school in Nigeria and later moved to London to for her undergraduate studies. She was a member of the her secondary school choir and toured the world with the London Community Gospel Choir.
She appeared on the MTV reality show Breaking From Above during her time as a member of Above.
Her birth name is Deborah Oluwaseyi Joshua. She and her three siblings were raised by their mother, who is from Northern Nigeria.
She worked with reggae artist Patoranking on her 2014 single "Murda."
