She gained interest in the punk rock scene in high school.

Trivia

She was named spokesperson for the Punk Rock Museum in Las Vegas in 2022. She has also worked for Verizon Mobile and was invited to Richard Branson's private island in recognition of her work there. In 2015, Vice Magazine called her a fixture of the local punk community in Toronto.

Family life

Her birth parents didn't want to raise her so she was adopted. She had 18 adoptive siblings in her household growing up.
