About
American actor best known for his role as Choir Boy in the 1991 film The Five Heartbeats. Other notable programs he has featured on are The Cosby Show, Beverly Hills, 90210 and a number of Hallmark movies. In the 1991 romantic drama Mississippi Masala, he played the younger brother of Denzel Washington's character. In 2002 he starred in the film Big Ain't Bad which won the Audience Choice Award at the 2003 Hollywood Black Film Festival.
Before Fame
He attended Laurel High School and then graduated from New York University. He began by working with the Negro Ensemble Company, appearing in stage plays. From the mid 80's to the 2000's he appeared in many popular television series and commercials. Early on he landed roles in notable films including Heart of Midnight with Jennifer Jason Leigh in 1989, the Michael Keaton comedy The Dream Team in the same year and the John Cameron Mitchell drama Misplaced in 1990.
Trivia
He appeared on Sesame Street in 1989 as Tico and lent his voice to the live-action music video "Litter Rap." Other popular shows he has been on include Boy Meets World and Bones. He did the voice of Bobby Brown on the show Family Guy.

His father is Neil Welliver, his mother is Josephine Wayne and his sister is Ann Weldon.
