NFL wide receiver drafted by the New Orleans Saints. In his first three years, he recorded 945 receiving yards, nine receiving touchdowns, and 92 receptions. 

Before Fame

He attended the University of Central Florida and played for the UCF Knights. He was named an All-American by the Football Writers Association of America in 2017. Smith was selected in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft by the Saints. 

Trivia

He was the recipient of a Jameis Winston touchdown pass, via a trick play against the TTampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2021 NFL season. Before being drafted, he had a strong performance at the Senior Bowl in 2018, which helped boost his draft stock. He also tested well at the NFL Combine that same year.

He was watching the NFL draft with his family when he was drafted by the Saints.

Smith has been teammates with a number of well-known Saints, including Pro Bowl wide receiver Michael Thomas and legendary QB Drew Brees.
