He first began his professional baseball career with the AZL Rangers rookie affiliate team. He was eventually promoted to the Spokane Indians.
Trivia
On July 27, 2025 he pitched his first career shutout while facing the Cleveland Guardians. In the process of doing so, he became the first Phillies pitcher to throw a shutout since 2016.
