Before Fame

He first started surfing at the age of three. He went on to compete professionally for the first time in 2005. Then at the age of 15, he was crowned the Quicksilver King of the Groms in France.

He is known for hosting and helping run the annual Brasileiro de Surf Feminino, a surf competition dedicated to the female surfers of Brazil.

Family Life

He was born and raised in Ubatuba, Sao Paulo, Brazil and is known for dating fellow surfer Natalie Plachi.
