Developed by both Nickelodeon and Spike as a spin-off of Spike's Lip Sync Battle, the reality series was officially green-lit by the former in March of 2017 after an hour-long special first aired on both networks.
Trivia
The one-hour special was hosted by Sarah Hyland. Jack Rayner was the composer for the series.
