 She grew up in Grimsby, England and knew from a young age that she was interested in the entertainment and television industry.

She worked as a weather presenter at the BBC for 10 years. She began hosting the Green Queens Podcast with her friend Imogen Bhogal.

She has a sister. She married her husband Jake in 2020.
