Singer and songwriter whose career began penning singles for internationally renowned artists like Christina Aguilera, Tinie Tempah, and Dr. Dre. After her successful songwriting career, she released her debut studio album The Mood Kill.
A performer early in life, she was only five years old when she began singing in church. By thirteen, her father was teaching her to play the acoustic guitar and two years later she was writing her own compositions.
She co-wrote numerous songs on Dr. Dre's 2015 album Compton. She also wrote songs for the band Why Don't We.
She is of Indian descent but grew up in South Africa. She eventually moved to the United States to pursue her musical career.
