Esix Snead

About

Former MLB outfielder that was originally taken by the St. Louis Cardinals as an eighteenth round pick in the 1998 draft. After a few seasons in the Cardinals' farm system, he was signed by the New York Mets. He also played for the Atlanta Braves and Baltimore Orioles organizations during his career.

Before Fame

Prior to being drafted, he played college baseball at the University of Central Florida. He also played football while in college.

Trivia

He made his official MLB debut while playing against the Miami Marlins on September 3, 2002. He finished his rookie season hitting .308 with one home run in 17 games played. 

Family Life

Growing up, he lived with his family in the Fort Myers, Florida area. He is now based in the Williston, Florida area.
