In 1995, he released his widely successful album Destinazione Paradiso. Much of his discography has fused classic rock with contemporary pop. He has a popular YouTube channel GianlucaGrignaniOfficial, which has earned 800,000 subscribers. On his channel, he has posted numerous videos that feature his live performances.

During his teenage years, he began writing songs. As he embarked on his songwriting journey, he was influenced by musical acts like Elvis Presley, The Police, and Lucio Battisti.
