Chef who found acclaim throughout the Cleveland area with his restaurants Trentina, The Greenhouse Tavern, and Noodlecat. He was named Best New Chef by Food & Wine magazine in 2010, and won the James Beard award for Best Chef: Great Lakes in 2015.
He studied at The Pennsylvania Institute of Culinary Arts before working at The Biltmore Hotel in Miami and then Kitchen 22 in New York City.
He opened Sawyer's Street Frites and Sausage & Peppers in the Cleveland Browns stadium in 2009.
He married Amelia Sawyer.
He has appeared on Bizarre Foods America with Andrew Zimmern.
