American entertainment journalist who worked at ABC News, People magazine, and CNN, and who became the Chief News Correspondent for E! News in 2008.
He attended Colgate University for his undergraduate degree and got his Master's from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
He wrote two memoirs, one about his struggle with prolactinoma and one about his stint as a professional hockey player.
He was born in Blasdell, NY and spent much of his career working in the New York area.
He made several appearances on The Today Show, which also featured Matt Lauer.
