Music producer, DJ, songwriter, and recording artist known for coproducing songs including "Say What" for Ne-Yo and "I'm a Stop" for Too Short featuring 50 Cent, Twista, and Devin the Dude along with assisting with engineering on Dr. Dre's single "Kush." He is also known for his songs such as "Low Rider," "Low Rider - 2livemafia Remix," and his 2025 streaming hit "Stray Cat."

Before fame

HE taught himself piano and recording as a teenager and spent time learning studio production at Foothill College before leaving high school when he was 17 years old. He later earned his GED in 2002. He moved to Los Angeles to pursue music full-time by working in nightlife promotion and connecting with industry figures including Mopreme Shakur and others. He went on to DJ on the 2Pac 10-Year Anniversary Tour in Brazil which helped kickstart his professional career.

Trivia

He has worked as Flo Rida's stadium DJ and performed during NFL halftime events. He once went viral after being filmed reclining with his feet out the window while driving a Tesla on Autopilot which was a traffic case that was later dismissed. His production contributions on Lupe Fiasco's Food & Liquor II helped earn a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album.

Family life

His real name is Joseph Salim Mourad. He grew up in Northern California as one of four children. His father Salim Mourad is a world recognized pastry chef.
