Reality television personality, podcast host, and YouTuber known for appearing on Survivor: The Amazon and Survivor: All-Stars in 2004. He created his own podcast Rob Has a Podcast (RHAP) in 2010, and runs his YouTube channel where he posts discussions and analyses of reality television shows. 

Before Fame

He attended the State University of New York at Oswego and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcasting in 2000. He was an active member of the Sigma Chi fraternity and completed a thesis titled "The Impact of Reality Television" which foreshadowed his future involvement in reality TV. He worked as a computer projects coordinator for an insurance agency and held various other positions, including store clerk, waiter, and bartender before he was cast on Survivor: The Amazon in 2003. 

Trivia

He initially applied for Big Brother 3 and advanced to the final stages of casting but was not selected. He pioneered the strategy of flip-flopping between alliances while maintaining strong relationships while on Survivor in 2003. His innovative gameplay has been widely recognized and studied by Survivor enthusiasts. He collaborated with Hollywood Reporter journalist Josh Wigler to launch Post Show Recaps, a companion platform that covers scripted television in 2014.

Family Life

His real name is Robert Kristopher "Rob" Cesternino. He was born and raised in Wantagh, New York. He married Nicole Palmeri in 2010. They have two sons named Dominic James and Anthony Joseph.

Associated With

He is often referred to by Survivor host Jeff Probst as "the smartest player to never win." He appeared on David Letterman's show in February 2004.
