This show was regarded as the first modern comedy-sketch show which influenced shows like Saturday Night Live. Actress Rita Moreno is the only cast member in the show that didn't appear in the show's finale. As a child, actor Giancarlo Esposito was one of the children singing the chorus of the opening theme song. In 2009, the show was rebooted and aired on the PBS Kids Go! programming block.
