Gothic horror film about a brilliant but egotistical scientist, Victor Frankenstein, who creates a creature from a dead corpse. It is based on Mary Shelley's classic 1818 novel. The film had its world premiere at the Venice International Film Festival.
Trivia
The film is directed, co-written, and co-produced by Guillermo del Toro. Filming began in February 2024 in Toronto. It was also shot at the Royal Mile in Edinburgh and Burghley House in Stamford, England.
