Her early film credits include roles in such 1960s films as Ce Soir ou Jamais and La Fille aux Yeux d'Or.


She appeared with Omar Sharif and Eli Wallach in the 1965 historical film Genghis Khan.

She was the daughter of actors Renée Simonot and Maurice Dorléac and the older sister of Cesar Award-nominated actress Catherine Deneuve.
