Indian entrepreneur who is best known as a pioneer of cable television in India. He is also the co-founder of UpGrad and known for building a sports company called U Sports. He has been named on Esquire's List of the 75 Most Influential People of the 21st Century. His Twitter account Ronnie Screwvala has gained over 2 million followers. 

Before Fame

He attended Cathedral and John Connon School and graduated from Sydenham College. In his early days of his entrepreneurship, he founded a toothbrush manufacturing company.

Trivia

In 2013, he and his wife founded The Swades Foundation, whose goal is to lift a million people out of poverty. He is the author of the book "Dream with Your Eyes Open."

He is married to Zarina Mehta. He was previously married to Manjula Nanavati and they have one daughter, Trishya Screwvala.
