Award-winning singer and guitarist of the jazz manouche (also known as "gypsy jazz") genre, whose single "J'Aime Plus Paris" earned the title of most-played French single worldwide in the year of 2008. He has worked alongside industry VIPs including Eddy MitchellCharles AznavourZaz, and Imelda May. He also released charting albums such as "Silence on Tourne, on Tourne en Rond," "Éternels jusqu'à demain," and "Frenchy," among others, and drafted the title song for the 2010 Luc Besson film Les Aventures Extraordinaires d'Adèle Blanc-Sec.

Before Fame

His early work was heavily inspired by Gypsy Jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt. His debut album, titled "Comme Un Manouche Sans Guitar," or "Like a Gypsy Without a Guitar," was released in 2007. The success of its track, "J'Aime Plus Paris," brought him a substantial audience as well as the opportunity to work with some of the biggest names in jazz and French pop music.

Trivia

He became a member of the Les Enfoirés charity ensemble, famous for its annual performance to benefit the Restaurants du Coeur charity and help provide meals for those in need. In 2008, he was awarded a Best Male Singer Award from the Globes de Cristal for his album "Comme Un Manouche Sans Guitar." The following year, he earned an Original Song of the Year Award from the Victoires de la Musique, for that same album's title track.
