About
American drummer best known for his work with Bay Area thrash metallers Exodus. He is a founding member of the band and played on their iconic debut album, Bonded by Blood. His musical influences include Led Zeppelin's John Bonham, Iron Maiden's Clive Burr, and Rush's Neil Peart.

He formed Exodus in the late 1970s with Keith Stewart, Tim Agnello, and Metallica's Kirk Hammett.
Trivia
He plays Yamaha drums. He briefly played in the band Quarteto de Pinga with Jason Newsted, Robb Flynn, and Andreas Kisser. In the summer of 2021, he began battling squamous cell carcinoma, and successfully beat it. His friend and bandmate Gary Holt helped organize a crowdfunding page to help him offset some of the high medical bills for his treatments.
