Former actress and model whose extensive resume includes a slew of television appearances on shows such as 21 Jump Street, Full House, Melrose Place, Chicago Hope, Party of Five, Crossing Jordan, CSI: Miami, and many more. She officially retired from acting after portraying the role of Agent Kate Jensen in the Kevin Sorbo-starring Walking Tall film installments, which included The Payback and Lone Justice.

Before Fame

After graduating from Huntington Beach High School, she began modelling and appearing in television commercials. She made her television series debut in 1986 after landing the recurring role of Sandy Stryker on General Hospital. The following year, she earned the recurring role of Sasha Roberts on Days of Our Lives. 

Trivia

In 2012, she wrote to Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos to request that he cease promoting the book Lost at Sea, which was written by private investigator Philip Klein. The book documented Klein's detailed findings after his three-year hunt for her ex-husband Philip McDermott, including claims that McDermott was alive and well and living in a small city in Mexico despite having been previously declared lost at sea by the U.S. Coast Guard after disappearing from a fishing charter boat in 2005. 

Family Life

She was married to cinematographer Patrick McDermott from March 1992 to June 1993. She has a son named Chance Taylor McDermott. 

Associated With

Her longest-running (and perhaps most noteworthy) acting role was as Detective Lisa Madigan on RoboCop: The Series, which she appeared in alongside co-star Andrea Roth. She also appeared on several episodes of Murder She Wrote, with Angela Lansbury and Tom Bosley.
