Trivia
The Revenant director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu became the third person to win two consecutive Oscars for Best Director. The film's cinematographer, Emmanuel Lubezki, was the first person to win three consecutive Best Cinematography awards. He won the prior two years for Gravity and Birdman.
