2002 Daytime Emmy Award winner for Outstanding Drama Series that was notable for being the first daytime drama to primarily feature ethnically and socioeconomically diverse characters. It chronicled the lives of the wealthy Lord family and middle class Woleks and Rileys family.
Trivia
The show was created by Agnes Nixon and ran for 45 seasons and more than 11,000 episodes. A brief revival of the series aired between April and August of 2013.
